My congressperson is Vito Fossella, R-NY, who faithfully votes the party line every time. He's a shoo-in for re-election, but he's not one to take chances with an unpopular war. Vito's list of issue updates cleverly omits the war entirely. In Vito's mind, the war in Iraq just doesn't exist.

Ernie Scott Garrett(R-Pimientos), as useless a waste of skin and gravity that has ever darkened the doorstep of humanity. Ashamed? That would assume higher brain functions, like self-awareness, and Ol' Ernie has not evinced much of that.

Andirons get more done and are a lot more useful than Ernie. Better personalities, too.

3. Hell, get something going out your way, get a few people together

Do a little grassroots work. Precinct walk, get out the vote, do what ya can--yards signs, flyers, whatever. Make the bastard SPEND THAT GOP MONEY...

Even if it is a safe seat, help even a "not a shot" opponent put up a challenge. If they are spending the money in YOUR district, they aren't spending it elsewhere!
