IDEA: The '50 State' Impeachment Project
Reading over some of the activities going on in the different states to get their legislatures to pass a resolution of impeachment for Dimson, an idea came over me.

What if -

1) it got 'organized' to get it done in EVERY state (I know, I know.. not a chance of hell in some states, but hang on). But last time I looked, the founding document of this nation started with "WE THE PEOPLE" not "WE THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES".

2) organize a movement to present to the legislatures of the states demands to pass a resolution of impeachment for Shrub AND CrashCart. Use the same 'ground' in each state.

3) time it and co-ordinate it (there's that word again) so that the 'presentation' is the SAME DAY in ever state, press conferences, rallys at the capitals, etc... make it a FIFTY STATE NEW EVENT.

4) stand back and watch the fallout.

I don't EVEN claim to have the resources and such to even attempt this.. but SOMEGROUP out there must...

Get at least 2/3rds of the states (34) to agree to a get-together. They send delegates at the appropriate time. The delegates approve a measure that allows a convention of 2/3rds of the states to authorize a national recall election of the President and Vice-President together, just as they are elected. Pass this measure around, and get 3/4ths of the states (38) to ratify it as an amendment to the United States Constitution.

See Article V of the United States Constitution.

2. Only problem with that ....
.. it would take longer than Chimpy has left in office. (but it's a good idea for the future).

3. A straw-poll calling for impeachment would do no good anyway
So why not get the people together to reclaim their power?
