8. The US has revolutions every so often

here is the list, as best as you can reconstruct them

1776 that WAS a revolution

the Whiskey Rebelion... which was an attempt at one

1797 and all the events that surrounded the Alien and Sedition act... in the end that led to the death of a party and a "liberal" revolution

1820s, yes those years saw a change in how we behaved and what we did... and here is where discussions that would lead to the civil war started

1860 The civil war was also a revolution, for slavery would not be tolerated

1880s, the Gilded Age, and the push back from the abuses after the Civil War, form the Right... the beginning of labor as an organized movement (yes it had its moments where violence did occur)

1933, New Deal

1960s, the Summer of Love

1980 and the "republican Revolution."

Oh and fear is not a bad thing, as long as you do not let it control you. Remember, the last place they can take over is your mind and as long as you are free inside yourself, there is nothing they can do to you to break you.

If you have followed, we are overdue... and I do hope the revolution, like most others, will be peaceful... but I ain't counting on it remaining peaceful, for the Extreme Right is afraid of what will happen once they loose power... and as Kennedy said once (paraphrasing)... those who prevent peaceful revolutions ensure the violent kind.
