colin powell suggests that we forget about the run up to Iraq
and focus on the future. How about we just empty all the prisons, forget about the past, and let the prisoners "move on" too? Heck, I think I would like to use that line of reasoning with American Express
about last month's charges too!

Colin, it doesn't work that way, some stuff is unforgivable.

6. Yeah, like they REALLY let Clinton off the hook ...
Our legislators could have spent a year + getting things done FOR US but instead, they wanted to rehash every gory detail of Bill n Monica. MOVE ON, my ass! People have DIED because of the lies told by these characters -- THAT's not something you can just "get over."

7. Yeah, lets forget about it, accountability is overrated.
We could argue all day about who lied us into the war, let's focus on blaming the Democrats for not having a plan to fix everything.

Hell, I'm ready to put it all behind. Bygones. Water under the bridge.

12. Isn't that SOP for republicans? LIE today, look to the future tomorrow.
They do this all the time. They even have a bogus term for it...they call it "forgiveness." How conveeeeeeenient. "Sure we lied and caused the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis, but why dwell on the past? We need to look to the future."

Do you that would work for any of us should be get busted for speeding or robbing a bank? "Please your honor. We shouldn't dwell on how fast I was driving yesterday. We need to focus on how fast I'll drive tomorrow."

Or, "Sure I robbed a bank yesterday. But let's look to the future. Now that I have all that money, I certainly won't have to rob any banks tomorrow."

It's BRILLIANT!

17. C. Powell wants everyone to erase their memories of
the crimes of the Neo Fascists, which he is part of. He knows that he should have resigned before going to the UN to spout blatant lies. He dishonored himself but he will still not fully admitt his direct part in the crimes of the Neo Fascist Regime of Busholini.

Goddam him - he has been a lying, opportunistic scumbag his entire career. Bushco has tried every possible justification for this monstrosity - and now that none of them seem to have gained any traction with the American people, they want to sweep the whole thing under the rug. Sorry - I want to see you ass hauled before the World Court in The Hague.

Apologies to all the Powell fans - I think he is a louse.

(passing thought - Powell, born in Jamaica. His birthplace neighbor, Aristede, is denounced as evil by the U.S. and kicked out of his own country by the U.S. - Yes,
Aristede, a duly elected, world confirmed President, treated like xxxx by the U.S. and Powell who helped kile and maim is honored.

And don't forget, the U.S. was helped by Canada and France.

Who reigns in Haiti presently? = foreign bankers of the World Bank order.

29. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it
Fat Chance. As If i am going to forget the needless death of thousands of americans and iraqi's. It doesn't work that way. When one commits a crime, say lying to a nation to start a war, NO ONE just walks away.

They may not ever pay for their crimes, but I'll be damned if I just forget and move on.

30. So a few thousand people have died because of lies...lies that you
told, Colin. But if you think we should forget about it, then that's what we will do. Hell, nothing like a little war to stir things up once in awhile, is there?

Fuck you, war criminal. You are going to go down with the rest of the fascist regime. Yeah, you would love for people to forget about the run up to war with Iraq, you piece of shit.

Not gonna happen...
