Tweety shows Iraqi Army deserting! Where's the corporate media?
I'm watching Tweety, and he's showing the Iraqi Army (which the BFEE are bragging about) They are stripping off their uniforms and throwing them on the ground rather than fight!

Anybody else see this?

Where are the bush*apologist corporate media on this?

4. It's incredible!
It's incredible that this clip didn't lead the nightly news on all the major networks. More proof how they are covering bush*'s ass.

7. The Katrina reporting was an aberation.
The majority of the Corp Media are still complicit with the Neo Fascist Regime of Busholini.

10. Lt. Col. "Mick" and General McCaffery
absolutely HAMMERED Rumsfeld. They obviously want him gone. This is starting to appear like a coordinated effort to remove Rumsfeld among the military and intelligence communites. They're also smashing Bush. I am wondering if some of these guys are planning to run for office as Democrats in the next few years.

11. Wonder how Americans would feel about this
If they were able to see this on their news in the evening or in their newspapers in the morning.

Here we are spending a fortune on this war, losing our troops daily, troops losing limbs and the newly graduating Iraqi soldier and removing their uniforms and walking away because they were going to be sent to an area in Iraq other than their own neighborhoods. Wouldn't they start to question our administration "What the hell are we doing there"?

I was not surprised to see the clip on The Daily Show after reading about the incident on DU. I am surprised to see that Tweety had it on, being owned by GE, but that is still not reaching the masses. Even though Bush's numbers are way down, if a regular Joe or Jane saw this on their news, I think things would change very very quickly. It is so hard to discuss these things with people because if they did not see it on their TV, it did not happen.

16. Where Tweety is -- that's where the corporate media is
In his supposedly "in-depth look at how we got into Iraq" all week he has phoned-it-in, asking laughably basic, hash and re-hash questions ---things that all of us here knew BACK THEN withOUT the benefit of deep intelligence sources, just with our b.s. detectors. And he led the two generals around and around, getting them up to Shrub's office -- AND AWAY from there. He let the generals (TRAINOR and McC_____) say again that it was BAD INTELLIGENCE. And then Tweety does his eternal Shrub apologism, saying that poor Shrub just NEVER GOT TO HEAR that more troops were needed. Actually, the point *was* made that the triumverage of evil --- Shrub, CHEENEE, RUMS --- did what THEY wanted to do, with everybody else --POWELL, Condo, and the generals --- locked out of the decidering.

I'm sure Keith will do a much better job showcasing the Iraq Sunni recruits stripping off their outer camoflage jackets.
