3. Most of us are Westsiders...
But we try to travel around the Metro Area... we can go East next time.

Any good pubs over there? :)

6. hmmm
...maybe you think most of us are Westsiders because the Eastsiders haven't shown up at your Westside meetups!

Actually, I have no idea what the numbers are.

8. could be!
Us 'westsiders' are addicted, we're more than willing to go 'eastside'.

As a matter of fact, we'll prove it ;)

June is an Eastside location, guaranteed.

Where do you recommend?
I lived in SE for 2 years, but I didn't get out much. :(

Outside seating is best, but not mandatory, access to Trimet is important.

13. One of the finest is the Horse Brass Pub
On Belmont at about 45th, handy to public transit on the number 15 Belmont bus.

Another fine looking establishment is the Firehouse Cafe and Ale House on Powell at 81st, handy to two of Tri-Met's most traveled lines, the number 9 Powell and the number 72 82nd Avenue bus.

Unfortunately, I have to work today, and I will be in Michigan at a friend's wedding next month, and in Des Moines at Annual Conference the month after that. Raise a ginger ale for yer old pal gratuitous.

15. Horse Brass has been mentioned but
we need non-smoking or outside seating, to be fair to the ones who don't smoke. Do they have a patio? I didn't see anything on their website... but I have been craving a pasty since I checked them out. yummy!

I can't find a website for the Firehouse... is it a brewery too?

PDXBara will raise a ginger ale for you, me? BEER! :)

I guess we'll see you in August!

17. Whoops, it's not the "Firehouse"
It's called the Bucket Brigade Cafe & Ale House, at 8012 SE Powell. I think they have patio seating, and a generous supply of libations.

Submitted for your consideration.

2. Hey, Viva, I want to quit sucking so bad as a person.
This is always the first Saturday of every month?

I'll block out June 3, then.

Badda Bing!

Yep, first Sat. every month.

We're planning on staking out a plot near the Beer Garden for Blues Fest in July.... that should be fun. :)

“Blues Queen of New Orleans ” Marva Wright. Residing in Maryland since Katrina left her homeless, the “Blues Queen of New Orleans ” will finally grace the Waterfront Blues Festival Stage, July 1.

“We’ve been trying to get Marva to the Waterfront Blues Festival for 10 years, but she was always touring Europe in July,” Dammann comments.

John Hiatt & the North Mississippi Allstars. Veteran singer-songwriter John Hiatt (who penned Bonnie Rait's hit "Thing Called Love") will team up with the Delta's acclaimed young blues rockers, The North Mississippi Allstars, Saturday, July 1.

Rebirth Brass Band. Formed in 1983 on the streets of New Orleans , Rebirth performs throughout the world and is a hands-down favorite among the younger generation. Rebirth will perform, July 1.
