Doctor talking about Kennedy is a an out and out liar!! |
|
The "doctor" on msnbc right now is talking about Kennedy taking "PHENEGRAN"...repeated "PHENEGRAN" over and over. Kennedy took PHENERGAN and no doctor that I have ever worked with in over thirty years has ever miscalled it PHENEGRAN. This man is a phoney. They are intentionally trying to make Kennedy look like a liar and drunk and all of their "guests" are trying to swift boat him.

1. I'm not watching - do they say why he was taking "phenegran"? |
|
And is this so-called doctor making assumptions without every examining Kennedy?

2. Kennedy just released a new statement saying he took |
|
and anti-nausia med. and Ambien. You know, that sleeping pill that's been causing people to get up in the middle of the night and do strange things.
Yet this 'doctor' kept talking about the other med.

4. Yes, Kennedy said that he was on prescription ambien and |
|
prescription phenergan. But if you work with this medication day in and day out (a common medication for nausea and other things) you pronounce it phenergan, like fen-ur-gan. I've never heard a doctor pronounce it it "FEN-U-GREN." I think their expert was a ringer and a liar.

16. He woke up after taking it |
|
and was so disoriented that he thought he had to drive to the Capitol for a vote. Kinda fits in with the recent stories of people getting up and eating, or walking, or driving and being unaware of what they are doing.
Darned good excuse, whatever the real facts of the incident are.
BTW -- Ambien causes me to hallucinate. Never had an experience like that before in my life! Apparently this is not that uncommon. I am in the minority of the population who cannot tolerate this drug, which has been so beneficial to so many.

9. Phenergan/promethazine - an antihistamine. |
|
It's most commonly used to control nausea and vomiting and can cause drowsiness and dizziness - driving a car wouldn't be recommended. Can knock you out.

5. He admits using Phenergan |
|
Later, however, he issued a longer statement saying the attending physician for Congress had prescribed Phenergan on Tuesday to treat Kennedy's gastroenteritis.
Kennedy said he returned to his Capitol Hill home on Wednesday evening after a final series of votes in Congress and took "prescribed" amounts of Phenergan and Ambien, another prescribed drug that he occasionally takes to fall asleep.
"Some time around 2:45 a.m., I drove the few blocks to the Capitol Complex believing I needed to vote," his second statement said. "Apparently, I was disoriented from the medication."

12. In my experience as a nurse, it often has a strange effect |
|
on people the first few times someone takes it. It can be quite disorienting. I don't think he was taking it by injection as that is usually reserved for surgery, but as I understand it, this medication was newly prescribed for him.
