OK, maybe this will never happen. But somewhere, in a parallel universe, the parallel Democrats will take both houses of Congress, throw out parallel Bush and Cheney, and install the parallel House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as president of the parallel United States.

I'd think about it, and I do think about it, this way. What were the effects of B*sh's speeches and rhetoric when he decided he needed to do something about his approval rating? Not much, huh. And more importantly, isn't Iraq the "default" headline when the rest of the news cycle has nothing else?? Clearly, it isn't going any too well for the guy.

"W" is not only in a box, he is contaminating those around him - ala Typhoid Mary. I really think, as long as the dems don't screw it up this time, they (repubs) can't win.
