CNN Spends 15 Minutes On Kennedy Story |
|
Nice to know the world is in such good shape this morning that this story requires such detail. Not only the were there two reporters going through every detail of the incident, but also the medical reporter to tell us how reckless the Congressman must have been to mix those two medications. And, of course, there's the reference to Cynthia McKinney...another major "criminal" that CNN enjoyed bashing around.
Now I don't remember them spending that much coverage when Rushbo pleaded guilty to his drug rap...I sure didn't see a CNN reporter breathlessly reading from the police reports or final verdict. We sure didn't get the CNN medical team doing a report on how Rushbo's Oxy addiction could have impaired his few operational brain cells and how that could relate to the delusional manure he spreads.
And, of course, this sure was more important that Congressman taking bribes and hookers for votes and earmarks...but then almost all of those are Repugnicans. Ooops. You could just see the glee on the CNN bots faces as they had a Democrat to bash around...even better...it's a Kennedy.

5. I think it was front page |

on the NY Post and the Daily News as well. I thought I saw that when I stopped for smokes at the gas station this morning.
Doesn't surprise me that those two rags have it on their front page.

3. Did you use REPUGS, BRIBES, and HOOKERS in the same |
|
sentence? Boy, that sounds infinitely more newsworthy than this non-story.

9. His last name is Kennedy |
|
it isn't because he's a democrat - it's because he's a Kennedy.
It isn't much of a news story but it's overblown because it's a celebrity thing, not a political thing.

15. Wow...Ambien & Phenergan...This Dude's A Real Druggie |
|
Edited on Fri May-05-06 09:43 AM by KharmaTrain
I took Phenergan as a kid for bad hayfever. That stuff knocked me out. My mother used to take Ambien...and surely that turned her into a real party animal...not. Sheesh. I've seen more mood altering concotions in a Shirley Temple. If anything, we should be grateful the Congressman isn't injured. Yeah, like CNNservative would show that... :sarcasm:
Now they've got a third reporter going into all the Kennedy family history and surely now we'll be hearing about Chappaquiddick at any moment. Anyone want to start a pool on that one?
I'll bet Roy Black is salivating...here's another Kennedy, another Drug case...he smells money!!!
On Edit: One more thought...supposedly all these drugs were prescribed by the Capitol Hill physician. Anyone know who he is and who appoints him? I wonder if he was a regular at the MZM poker games or Signatures...

Faux news has 24/7 coverage. Nothing else in the world is more important than a Kennedy in a car accident. :sarcasm: http://www.newshounds.us/2006/05/05/fox_news_obviously_delighted_over_patrick_kennedy_car_accident.php

The ex Mrs. Limbaugh to Bill Press..."now there's a cover-up here". Sheesh!! And TWO investigations. STOP THE PRESSES (and Press).
And Press, who I usually likes, and hopefully said this sarcastically, said "we could talk about this for hours".
Damn...it's Friday, no TDS tonight!

19. Wonder how much time the media (CNN) spent |
|
on Rush Limbaugh's arrest?
15 minutes today on Kennedy . . . I bet, with all the soundbytes put together, they MIGHT have surpassed that by a few seconds, on Rush . . .
