<snip>

President Bush suggested that Goss had only served in a "transition" phase, not something widely noted before today's unexpected news.

Sure, I believe him

8. Probably never even met each other.
But honestly, I doubt that Bush would go to a hooker party. He just doesn't seem the type. He goes to bed at 7. He rides his mountain bike instead.

12. He was a horrible drunk and a coke user - too stoned to
do hookers.

Boy, that'a sickening thought. Geo. with hookers. Egads. That makes my stomach turn.

6. That's how Rove instructed him to spin it but, so far...
...the press hasn't picked up that ball and run with it--at least. if CNN is any indication. Just now, they were exploring the "Duke Cunningham hookers and poker parties" angle.

:wow:

10. Goss certainly managed the transition...
...from crisis to disaster. Now let's see who gets the job of taking it to the next level: calamity.

the problem is there are too many people in this administration who qualify to take us to "that next level"
those are the only people they seem to know

11. Technically, this is true of all Bush appointees
... in that they all seem to be in transition from "incompetent and/or crooked Bush lackey" to "public disgrace and/or denizen of the penal system."

(heh heh, "penal")

15. In that case..
.. I'm sure he's announcing Goss' replacement in a few minutes. If this is a planned transition, they must already have a successor lined up.

Yeah, right.
