Yet another "things would've been so much worse under Clinton" nutjob
This is from another board:

"hey for you clinton fans out there our nation would be a smoldering crater if he had been in office when 9/11 hit he didnt give our military a fucking cent....
the basstard
clinton had sex with a woman in the OVAL OFFICE
for christ sake he dosent no what the
word decency is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The basstard"

Jeez, can't even spell "bastard"

And my response:
"So what, Clinton had sex with a woman? Oh man, that's SO much worse than starting an illegal war, getting 100000 Iraqis and 2000 American troops killed, using the Constitution as toilet paper, encouraging bigotry against a group of people (gays), and lying about everything BUT sex in the Oval Office. Plus, Bush walked around in a flight suit with SOCKS stuffed in his CROTCH! And you say Clinton was indecent and perverted? Bush could blow up the whole world and all you care about is that he doesn't get head in the Oval Office. You are hopeless."

1. My factual response to such nonsense
If Clinton, Gore or Kerry had been president during 9-11, there would not have been a terrorist attack, because those men did not need a terrorist attack.

I served in the military every day that Clinton was Commander in Chief. We did fine and dandy.

5. It sure could have been worse - that stock market money was such a burden
I didn't really know where to invest my surplus. It's not like I could just dump it into the gas tank and forget about it. And the multiple job offers for more and more money with great benefits - who needs that kind of stress trying to pick the right one.

And it wasn't so easy to follow the scandal - it was always something being investigated on Bill or Hillary, but always different stuff. Now, it's easy to keep up with which Republican has resigned, which was indicted, who pled guilty, who's cooperating with which prosecutor, who skimmed billions of $ from the war, the no bid contract or in exchange for passing legislation - even keeping up with if Republican scandals are all about bribery, pedophilia or insider trading is simpler - one Repug = one type of criminal charge = one eventual conviction. I really did like it when it was so simple to just sigh and think "Yeah, those Clinton's sure are crooks. I"m not sure what they're guilty of, but it must be something."

He's right, without all these convictions, think of the money we'd still be wasting investigating Bill & Hilary.

7. Remind him that more bases were closed under Bush than under Clinton
And the fact that Bush continued to close so many bases DURING A WAR means there was more than enough military to cut and that Clinton couldn't have possibly done any damage.

8. Yea, peace and prosperity was a real bitch, wasn't it?
Of course, when Clinton was in office, the first WTC bombers were prosecuted and put in jail for life - by Patrick Fitzgerald, no less! - and the Millenium bomb plotters were caught BEFORE they were able to execute their plans - and put in jail for life, without the use of the Patriot Act! - and they handed * a plan for how to stop OSL and Al Quaeda - all they needed to do was put it in place.
They just didn't hand him a war...so that, along with the dreaded sex scandal - that took 7 years and 70+billion dollars of OUR money - means he was a failure.

Their Clenis envy is starting to get old. All this hot air, because they can't get it up, or find it when they can.
