5. CNN also saying
defense will have 5 witnesses testifying that Wilson discussed wife's working for CIA with them. "Quite open with discussing with them." But might not call him as witness!!!

Bastards.

6. So?
All that means is that Karl Rove's name is on a list of potential witnesses.

Hardly news.

It's meaningless.

20. I know, but
it's nothing except a routine filing. You put everyone's name on the list - just in case.

And now you know a bit more about motions!

takes pills and freedom is on the march in Iraq? :sarcasm:

I wonder if Rove's palms are sweaty right now.

15. Given Rove has been identified as Official A, I can't see him/his
lawyer agreeing for him to testify on Libby's behalf, it would put him in further jeopardy as Fitzgerald would be able to cross-examine him.

21. Rove could be forced to appear against his will via a subpoena which would
then make him a 'hostile witness', not a smart move on the defendant's part unless Rove has a bombshell piece of evidence that will help Libby. The Libby defense team, imo, is simply throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, into this in hopes that something will work.

23. How many times have they thrown that kitchen sink?
It seems like once every couple weeks, that sink zips past our eyes AGAIN.

I left the house for a couple hours and came back to "hell just broke loose" in Washington. Gotta learn to stay home on Fridays.

24. LOL, They keep changing the type of sink in hopes of fooling the
judge that it is a totally different kitchen accessory, not at all like the previous sink.
