As if we needed more proof that the Mainstream Media is irrelevant . . .
Anybody that surfs the blogosphere shouldn't be all that surprised by Porter Goss's resignation; we've known about the prostitution/Watergate/Abramhoff/Republican scandal, and its' link to Goss for at least a week now. Meantime, clueless CNN, MSNBC, FOX, CBS, the Times, the Post, and the rest of the usual journalistic suspects are caught, once again, with their pants down. And it IS stupidity, folks -- the fat cats that run the media have been blinded in their pursuit of the almighty dollar by ideology. You'd think that these so-called journalists would leap on a scandal involving spys, money, hookers and the Watergate hotel. That sure would sell a lot of papers, garner higher ratings, whatever, but these blow-dried, undereducated, talking heads couldn't find their ass with both hands. Ah well, as long as they've got an addicted Kennedy to talk about . . .
