nice SUV, flatfoot.

PS. Note the sign: A. gas is already 50 cents higher here in San Diego than when i took this on monday. B. The price has gone up so fast that they gotta use the 2's with the decimals. They should just skip making 3s with decimals and move to the fours, by the time they get them printed....

1. Paying? How about PRAYING for gas
For that's what we'll all be doing in just a little while. Demand is exceeding supply and something's got to give.

2. Yep. Prices for everything that is transported is going up too.
So ultimately, the price for everything you use that you don't grown in your own backyard is going to increase.

5. Exactly. Funny, they usually raise the minimum wage a few cents before
raising the price of gas. This time, no lube at all - I guess the oil is too expensive. }(

Plant a garden if you can.

3. To be fair, that might be a K-9 unit.
...in which case an SUV would be perfectly reasonable.

4. Lots of departments use 4x4's

We had 4 of them. When you have 1200 miles of county to patrol, and 50% is dirt roads, you need them.

Flat Foot?
Why the insult?
There are several members of DU who are active or retired peace officers.
