...but right after Helen Thomas says "you'll be sorry!" it seems like that guy (Mark Smith?) asks Bush something, then he leans over, then Bush mouths something along the lines of "...be sorry." So maybe the other guy asked what Helen Thomas said, and Bush told him?

Shrug, just another possible explanation.

Watch his face against the backgroud--definitely gets red and then redder and redder as it goes on. He never quite goes back to a normal skin tone. :D
