Seriously, what's the count? I mean, I know every president has a few that resign but DAMN I think we're getting up there. Anyways I challenge all of you to come up with ever major white house staffer or placed person that has resigned during bush's reign

There were those who "resigned" because they started telling the truth and had to go.

There were those who "resigned" because they had finished their job of gutting corporate regulations and then went to work for those same corporations so they could cash in.

There were those who "resigned" because they were so incompetent that they became an embarrassment but they were good soldiers and fell on their swords to take the heat off Bushco.

Then there those who "resigned" because of a scandal like the guy who was shoplifting.

There were dozens of resignations in the diplomatic corps, including an ambassador, and in the pentagon prior to the Iraq invasion. These are important and sometimes come with prescient resignation letters.
