1. I thought Kennedy was taking Ambien
is that billed as being a safe sleep aide, that is how I see it advertised, surely something
that is supposed to be taken nightly should not be addictive. As for Rush's addiction, oxycotin
is highly addictive and is tightly controlled, my friend took it as part of a combo and it's
dosage was strictly monitored.

3. The longer you are an addict, the more likely you are to break the law
It doesn't take long, either. You can rest assured that behind the scenes, a lot of beyond-legal drug-seeking behavior occurred in both cases.

However, if you are talking publicly known legal evidence suitable for prosecution, then the answer is: yes for Limbaugh, but apparently a lot less than most people thought, while for Kennedy the story is too fresh for us to know much, if anything. Time will tell.

I hate seeing addiction treated as a criminal matter, so I say the less legal trouble the better in both cases.

Peace.

4. Kennedy didn't say Ambien users go to jail. Yet he's not a serious person
Edited on Fri May-05-06 09:20 PM by Democrats_win

Representatives and Senators represent more people now than ever before and they need to be serious people. It's not as if Kennedy's resignation will cost us anything. The Democrats in congress have accomplished exactly nothing. These people sat on their asses as the MF repukes and too many DINOs let the usurist credit card companies reinstate slavery! Did Dems stand up and defeat Judge Alito? They had the numbers, but not the guts to do it.

Hey, we loved the Kennedys, but they're a stone around the neck of Democrats. As our country moves toward fascism, we can't afford losers like this anymore. Let America watch the GOP circus of Abramoff, Tancredo, Bush, Cheney, Short-timer Porter Goss, Snow job, Hookergate, WMD-liars, Rummy-liar, Condi-can't imagine, Frist-Frankestein, Drug Rush and Delay. When they see the GOP, they'll see American Idiots and a discredited movement. Compassionate conservative was a lie before it left the mouth of bush's brain.

5. Rush is a scumbag...
So is Kennedy. I have no use for either one.
