I wonder if Kennedy was set up by doctors who were less than honest or direct..(given the political backstabbing one sees on the hill it's plausible thought IMHO) Was kennedy 's addictions used as a distraction for the the media ? Yes it is crass to use addiction to distract the public, especially the conservative leaning public who depend on scapegoats to feel secure in the world, from another Bush Scandal?I bet they are, they are harping and harping on it ,the scene is being hyped like princess diana. what is it with that? Dick Cheney Vice president shoots someone in the face, and it's old news.. a Kennedy with a known addiction issue and depression falls of the wagon and this is NEWS???!!! WTF? Any doc who knows Kennedy's history of addiction SHOULD know better than to prescribe certain drugs to him, right? I mean think about it the doctors these rich politicians have attending them know them very well because they HAVE to.They get health care treatment far better than the rest of us ever will.
So I find this whole thing suspicious in it's timing. Bush we all know is a sociopath,we know they like leo strauss and lie,we know conservatives are fucked up personalities who have no moral character. Neither do any of his neocon buddies have any moral character, they love that cloak and dagger shit and they love their power, they will kill their own kids to get off on some "full spectrum domination"..

even still knows that this thing about driving with Ambien is known side-effect.
Something said he just started taking it April 25th.
That doesn't sound like he would be "addicted" - at least not to that.

2. No, I think his dad did a great job in managing the reality of this thing |

The kid fell off the wagon, and the other drugs didn't help the situation.
Ted's skillful handling of this turned what could have been weeks of nasty Kennedy speculation and rehashing into a MEDICAL ISSUE. He's gone from the "privileged Congressman" category to the "brave soul facing up to a profound medical challenge" category. Anyone who beats up on him now is beating up on millions of Americans with similar issues. Every family has at least one...
