I just found out that Stephen King showed up at anti-war
demonstrations here in Florida at the very beginning of the Iraq war.

Neat, huh?

1. I remember reading something about that at the time
and thinking that I did not even know he lived in FL (assuming he still lived in Maine). I guess the warm weather probably helps with all the pain he has to deal with after his accident.

2. Yes, tho it would be even better if he and others pooled their vast ...
fortunes and started to construct an alternative to the RW echo chamber. I'd be happy with a few major new liberal newspapers and 24/7 high profile news outlets to start.

The RW does this all the time, I wish wealthy progressives would do the same. It's an embarrassment to have to pass the hat around looking for handouts whenever we have a political crisis. There are plenty of fabulously wealthy dems, why don't they spend their money on the future of their party & country like Republicans do?

But we'll claim Stephen King anyway. :P

10. Oh, the poor freepers..
..yet ANOTHER one to add to their boycott list.

At this rate, within two years, the only films, books and music they will (as they state)patronize will be the "Left Behind" series and Pat Boone, respectively.

12. You can scratch Boone too. Since he released "In a Metal Mood"...
he's been roundly criticized by his conservative fanbase.
