Was Mary McCarthy Fired Because She Wanted Investigations Into Hookergate?

Mary McCarthy, who was recently fired after Goss claimed she leaked information, worked in the CIA's inspector general's office.

The INSPECTOR GENERALS office. She was, by all accounts I've read by fellow employees, a straightshooter.

Mary McCarthy might have been one of those inside the CIA who knew about Hookergate and tried to do something about it.

It was her department that would have been in charge of investigating the current scandal.

it`s clear now that anyone who gets fired knows to much..the bush criminal organization has a long history of "firing" people by any means to silence them

7. she was just about to retire and is probably beyond "getting back" but
there are definately some CIA people still in there who DO want things ironed out.

Mary McCarthy signed off on Richard Clarke's January 2001 memo.

at the bottom there is a notation that reads :

"Concurrences by : Mary McCarthy, Dan Fried, Bruce Reidel, Don Camp"
