I believe the Telecommunications Act of 1996 signed into law by Bill Clinton may be one of the biggest steps down the road to serfdom. Truly deplorable the way the news orgs rally around Bush just in time for a push toward the elections this fall.
BRILLIANT. They timed all their hard questioning for a period not likely to affect elections. That way they can seem "fair".
God, I love how our modern dictatorships take root with such clever and deft manipulation of 'everyman'.
