MSM vs blogosphere-who is right more often?
I imagine Bush would still be at 65% approval in the polls without the internet digging into every lie.

1. At first I was a skeptic but the web has proven itself & is more energetic
I cross check stories over various blogs but have been consistently impressed at how many stories over the past year "broke" on the web and were eventually reported on by the MSM.

5. I agree...I used to roll my eyes...

...when someone on DU would cite a blog as their source of information. Not that I didn't necessarily believe some of what the blogs were saying, but I felt that unless MSM was the source, it somehow didn't "matter." Unless MSM said it, no one would take it seriously enough to entertain. Boy have things turned in a short time!

Now I read the blogs and wonder when MSM will catch up.

3. a lot of b.s. on the web but more then enough early news catches.
From early March .... on Goss & Company.

Porter Goss: Reportedly embroiled in CIA fraud case
Porter Goss: Reportedly embroiled in CIA fraud case March 6, 2006 The CIA's Inspector General is investigating the CIA's Executive Director, the number three person at the agency, for possible contract fraud involving a company tied to jailed former GOP Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham. The investigation of Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, the former influential head of logistics at the CIA's Frankfurt, Germany station, centers on CIA contracts awarded to Foggo's close friend and Cunningham briber (to the tune of 0,000) Brent Wilkes, the owner of Chantilly, VA-based ADCS, Inc., Group W Advisors, and Archer Logistics. According to Langley insiders, not only did Wilkes supply Foggo with an office at the ADCS Chantilly office suite but CIA Director Porter Goss has failed to investigate other serious charges, said to involve personal indiscretions, leveled against Foggo by CIA employees. In fact, Goss, who approved Foggo for his present position, may also have major conflicts of interest in the CIA fraud investigation and his recent calls for journalists to be subpoenaed by grand juries to force them to reveal their sources may have more to do with Goss protecting himself rather than in ferreting out national security "leakers." 6. The most dangerous thing to the right-wing and the bush cabal
is the ability of the bloggers, etc, to instantaneously fact check their statements and call them on their lies almost before they finish telling them. It has been interesting how the MSM first ignored, then laughed and now attack the blogs. I believe the next step is the blogs win.

7. We are not only right, but usually way ahead of them in terms
of what is breaking news. They lag at least a year behind us if not more in breaking real news about the bush gang's lies and deceptions. And they know it.
