8. We need to dispell the "Gore is Wooden" myth...

Somewhere along the line, Gore made a speech that sounded like it was prepared for the VOA Special English broadcast (i.e. read very slowly for non-english speakers...)

It was either in 2000 or 96 - at one of the conventions...anyone remember? He played right into the "Gore is a Bore" thing...

I like this Al Gore better...!!!

He is truly funny and a great speaker...IMO.

BTW, all of Al Gore's sketches on that show were written by Al Franken. Notice that Gore was in almost all the sketches — and he was great!
