OMFG! Joe Scarborough on NC hotel implosion: "like the Republican Party
goin' down!"

Then he dissed Shrub twice when previewing video of a new japanese humanoid robot which costs $300K and has a 400 word vocabulary...higer cost, higher intelligence then the bumbling murder monkey.

6. What's gotten into Scarborough?
A year ago he was just another Republican partisan hack posing as a TV journalist. He could have been on FoxNews.

Perhaps he had a sudden revelation that he is no longer in politics and is free to call it as he sees it. In fact, that he is supposed to do that now.

These remarks about Bush may be a little strong, but it seems like a helluva transition.

8. I think Katrina happened ...

He was unhinged during his reporting of Katrina. I wouldn't go so far as to say he's made a fundamental change or that he's redeemed himself as a journalist, but something did in fact change in him after that.

13. OK, that makes sense
A cat 5 hurricane could do that in his old district in Florida, too. He almsot certainly knows that.

12. Then why isn't Fox changing it's tune?
The point I made is that Scarborough made a career change and just now realized it. Your remark would have more weight if he were getting ready to run for office again. Is he? Not that I am aware.

16. he's just positioning himself as a "maverick"
i don't think he has to politically benefit for it to be twisting in the wind.

Fact of the matter is I've long-since ceased watching all of those asshats. If you can stomach them, more power to you. I would caution you against believing for one moment that Scarborough will every truly have an awakening, though. That's just pure fantasy.

19. MSNBC is watching the polls, for one thing--
Countdown's ratings are going up as chimp's go down. So they put Scarborough on right after Countdown, and go more moderate and anti-Bush.

It may be that Joe S. has also seen the light. Either that, or he's been kind of moderate all along, but has had to swing to the far right up until now. I'd like to believe he really means it.

Tonight he had a whole bunch of Dems on--and the other day was saying nice things about Pat Kennedy.

24. MSNBC is setting Joe up to do what Imus did to Kerry.
Act like he's kind of on our side and then snipe at the democrats running for office. A little bit here and a little bit there is how Imus did it to Kerry, while he kept saying Kerry was his man in the race. These MSNBC propagandists are slick.

25. I was wondering how far down I'd have to scroll to get to the meat ..
Remember. Scarborough. Dead congressional aid in his office. Escambia County, Florida. Coroner's cover-up. But they are famous for that. Look back to the Southern Company King Air 200 "crash". Escambia County. R/W political dealing. All as fishy as the flounder bins at Joe Patti's. Know what I mean?
