The flock of American golden geese is getting plucked!

As one of the flock, I am tired of having my eggs stolen and my feathers harvested to furnish the nests of the oil industry, the healthcare industry and the defense contractors and lobbyists.

We loyal Americans have bought so long into the myth that "We're number 1! We're number 1!" that we now sound like overweight alumni in the stands of a high school team that hasn't won one in years. We are NOT number one in life expectancy, education, infant mortality, or healthcare. We are still number one in military spending, but personally, I think it is that exact thing that brought down and bankrupted the Soviet Union.

Let's hear one for the geese! Let us keep a few eggs and fight off those who pluck and plunder us!
