how far right this nation, as well as the Democratic Party, has been pulled.

that Roberts received. Hell, yes, it matters. Say hello to Emperor Bush** and goodbye to your rights, destroyed by a unitary executive Dimson** and his minions. I need a drink.

if we have enough votes to filibuster this creep.
IMO I feel there are a few Dems in name only who will vote scalito in , like those who voted for the bankruptcy bill and CAFTA.

With little opposition. I'm slowly coming around to thinking that the game is over and America is gone. I don't want it to be true and I keep hoping that the November elections will prove me wrong but I am very cynical now. November is our very last chance.

10. The democrats will probably cave in |
|
I voted yes, but my heart is saying no. Bush wants him so he will vote to let him have unlimited power; and to withhold elections while a war is in progress; hence, we will have perpetual war. Oh, how I'd like to be wrong about this! :headbang:

24. I say it will mainly be a party line vote. |
|
Yes, there might be some defections on either side, but it will mainly be a party line vote. The margin of votes will probably be as close as the margin of votes in the Thomas confirmation vote.

I would say that more or less all hope is lost for the next 25 years.
Hey, and I thought the country dodged a bullet when Bush did not get the chance to appoint a SC justice. Once Bush got another term though, it was quite obvious the nation was fucked for atleast another quarter century.
