Sammy was only there for a year anyway. The White Sox traded him to my beloved (although irritating) Cubs where he achieved great fame. It is doubtful bush had anything to do with the Sosa deal.

They were pretty much in last place the entire time. It really can't be blamed on him, since he was just a figurehead. That crap about him trading Sosa is ludicrous; he was getting paid to help steal land and drink beer in the owner's box. The real baseball people made trades and signed players; Smirky had nothing to do with it.

Being from the area and growing up watching them, I still love them, but some of the best players got traded or left. Arod (can't stand him), pudge. Ryan retired.
