Feingold to address New Hampshire convention in June
WASHINGTON Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold is scheduled to address New Hampshire's Democratic Party convention June Third.

That would be his third trip to the state since last fall.

New Hampshire holds the nation's first presidential primary every election year. That makes it an attractive pre-campaign destination for politicians considering a presidential run.

Feingold has not declared his intention to run in 2008.

He will share top billing with former Virginia Governor Mark Warner, who is also considered a potential candidate in 2008.

2. Will someone ask why he gave an endorsement of McCain as noted by ABCNOTE?

We ignore Feingold's endorsement of McCain as noted by ABCNOTE ? WHY?

Per ABCNOTE:

"In his address to the National Press Club yesterday, Sen. Feingold was asked if he discussed and shared advice on a possible presidential run with Sen. John McCain. Feingold replied that "we kid around about this," and, when asked if he believes he can "beat" Sen. McCain in a general election, Sen. Feingold said that "he would beat me in Wisconsin."
More Feingold on McCain: "It would be wonderful if we'd be able to elect a president that the American people feel good about, whom we could trust, and these are some of the qualities that I see in Sen. McCain."

3. I don't know his reasons, however I can
tell you he is the kind of person who would promote his friend. He is very non-partisan, and calls them like he sees them... He and McCain are good friends, and being the statesman that he is, he is not going to promote himself...

Now do I need to go over to the other Feingold thread and answer you or is this enough?

and knows him a bit better than some people with opinions. Feingold may be too much of a maverick for some dems because he is a statesmen before he is a partisan hack.
