Support Bush or get no government services
Edited on Tue May-09-06 11:01 AM by ck4829
"After discussing the huge strides the agency has made in doing business with minority-owned companies, (HUD Secretary) Alphonso Jackson closed with a cautionary tale, relaying a conversation he had with a prospective advertising contractor.

"He had made every effort to get a contract with HUD for 10 years," Jackson said of the prospective contractor. "He made a heck of a proposal and was on the (General Services Administration) list, so we selected him. He came to see me and thank me for selecting him. Then he said something ... he said, 'I have a problem with your president.'

"I said, 'What do you mean?' He said, 'I don't like President Bush.' I thought to myself, 'Brother, you have a disconnect -- the president is elected, I was selected. You wouldn't be getting the contract unless I was sitting here. If you have a problem with the president, don't tell the secretary.'

"He didn't get the contract," Jackson continued. "Why should I reward someone who doesn't like the president, so they can use funds to try to campaign against the president? Logic says they don't get the contract. That's the way I believe." "

1. I'm waiting for the VA to force loyalty oaths on veterans receiving care
"I swear that I fully support President Bush and his administration. Amen."

For fuck's sake, how far will these bastards go? We are loyal to the Constitution, not any elected official!

I'll see the rest of you non-loyalists in the holding pen....

2. Hey anybody who doesn't love and support this President
Hates America anyway, right? I mean do you really want to give an advertising contract to someone who hates America?

4. I Saw That Article This Morning Too
As the article said, there is *nothing* in the rules that says loyalty to GWB is a prerequisite to getting contractors services. I am writing to HUD and telling them they were partisan hacks who are more concerned with enriching their friends than actually caring out the purpose of HUD one of which is making homes for the poor and destitute such as Katrina victims. I am saying that I will work my butt off as a citizen to make sure they lose their jobs by next year. Maybe they need to experience what the people they are supposed to serve are going through. Then maybe they will get a clue albeit too late to have HUD employment...but hey, maybe then they will turn into Democrats instead of elitist Repigs who think they are the only ones who deserve to benefit from our tax dollars.

My (angry) 2 cents

5. These people are insane, like their Fuhrer George is!
The SS oath to the Fuhrer

'I swear to thee, Adolf Hitler, as Fuhrer and Chancellor of the German Reich, loyalty and bravery. I vow to thee, and to the superiors whom thou shalt appoint, obedience unto death, so help me God.'

Quotes from Hitler's fellow Christian Henchmen and Christain Nazi Sympathizers

Hermann Göring

God gave the savior to the German people. We have faith, deep and unshakeable faith, that he was sent to us by God to save Germany.
-Hermann Göring (Hitler's Elite, Shocking Profiles of the Reich's Most Notorious Henchmen,"

We believe that the Fuhrer is fulfilling a divine mission to German destiny! This belief is beyond challenge.
-Rudolf Hess, speech, 20 June 1934

Heinrich Himmler

I swear before God this holy oath, that I shall give absolute confidence to the Fuehrer of the German Reich and people.
-Heinrich Himmler, reminding his hearers about the oath taken by all SS men as well as by the military forces (Hitler's Elite, Shocking Profiles of the Reich's Most Notorious Henchmen,"

He who serves our Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler, serves Germany and he who serves Germany, serves God.
-Baldur von Schirach (speech to Hitler Youth, 25 July 1936) MORE...
