Characteristics of neo-Conservatives! Let's make a list!
Yes, everyone. . .they have all traits and they all have similar attitudes. Time to identify them!

I'll start the list:

Neo-conservatives have no problem forcing their points of view down your throat, but will work to get opposing points of view made illegal. (I have been told liberals shouldn't teach history)

Neo-conservatives love G-d, but ignore what G-d says.

Neo-conservatives love guns in their hands, but guns in a minority's hands mean criminals have guns.

Neo-conservatives love freedom, as long as they have it and no one else does.

Neo-conservatives love corporations, but hate the workers who make that corporation run.

Neo-conservatives love Bush and his wars, but hated Clinton and his wars!

Neo-conservatives live by the rule of law, unless it stops our embezzling, conspiracy, plundering and law breaking.

Neo-conservatives see liberals everywhere. Everything has a liberal bias, even reality!

4. Neo-Cons are hypocrites
They will say drug rehabs should be shut down. But once a neo-con confesses of having a drug problem, rehabs are a good thing.

So I say hypocrite!

5. Neo-cons are Afraid of real Freedom.
They need a power-figure to feel just okay.

They assume the worst, "War is inevitable", "There isn't enough _______ to meet everyone's needs", "People can't ___________."

They need "proof" their beliefs are true.

7. Neo-Cons can't stand the little man!
Neo-conservatives believe in stomping on the little man like a finished cigarette, while they further advance their already gaudy status, at the expense of the little man!

9. From my Repub family:
Here's what I've noticed from my own family:

o "Critical analysis" of ANY "fact", be it religious or political, is disloyal/blasphemy.

o When the evening news comes on, Neo-Cons will change the channel to watch "Wheel of Fortune", but consider themselves "well informed" because they listen to Right-wing talk radio all week long.

o It's no coincidence that more Democrats also consider themselves "Atheists" or more secular. "Critical Analysis" has no place in religion, and while Democrats are home watching the Sunday roundtable news shows, Republicans are in church being told that President Bush is "a man of God" without discussing all the people he's killed or whose lives are destroyed by his policies.

o NeoCon's will readily accept even the most obscure "fact" that supports their beliefs, but multiple sourced, heavily documents proof to the contrary either comes from "untrustworthy sources with an agenda" or require additional proof.

o President Bush can do no wrong. Even when presented with proof that he lied, "He did it for our own good" (yes, I've been told that!)
