If only it hadn't been for 9/11...
- 2 towers would still stand in lower Manhattan
- 3000 people would still be alive
- 100000 Iraqis and 2000 American troops would still be alive
- the US Constitution, not the arbitrary will of one man, would still be the supreme law of the land
- America would still have the world's respect and admiration
- John Kerry would be president

Never forget that the worst thing to ever happen to America was the best thing to ever happen to * and the Republican party

2. Some people may argue that they
let it happen or took part in it happening. May not have been avoidable.

5. I'm not MIHOP (yet)
but I am LIHOP and it's becoming more and more so that if Bush really orchestrate the attacks, I would be less and less surprised

8. I dont know what I am...
Part of me thinks it is just my own way of thinking that says one American wouldnt make it or let it happen to another, but then I see Katrina, medicare, CIA leak, on and on and on and on. Then I start to wonder if I just cant get past that way of thinking because it is too scary to believe.

11. Same here
I just recently learned of Marvin Bush's connection to 9/11 and that is causing me to move closer to MIHOP.

4. I don't think John Kerry would be president
I think a different nominee might have emerged -- voters in Iowa and New Hampshire wouldn't have been looking at "electability," and even if they were, there would have been a different definition.

That said -- I have no idea who it would have been. Dean, probably not, since his main selling point was being against the war. Edwards? Maybe. Someone else entirely? Who knows?

6. Except for you last point...
...I think all of your list would have come to pass if Gore had been allowed to take his rightful place as President.

7. If not for December 12th, 2000, all that would be true, too, except that
we'd have Al Gore instead of John Kerry as president, and we'd have a lot more jobs, clean air, cheaper gas, higher wages, and no recession, to boot. Plus, 9-11 wouldn't have happened, because Al Gore would have read the damn memo!

12. If Gore won over Bush
If Gore won over Bush in 2000, 9/11 WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!

Clinton/Gore and Dems like Gary Hart gave terrorism a much higher priority and would have allocated a hell of a lot more resources for prevention.

Unlike you know who.

9. move back from 9/11 and remember the scotus brought all of this on us
by completing the theft of election 2000.

al gore would never have taken al qaida for granted. al gore would never have ignored warnings. al gore probably would have stopped 9/11 beforehand and if he didnt he sure would have had jets scrambling immediately and dealt with it like a president instead of a scared little idiot.

al gore would not have exploited 9/11 for political gain, he wouldnt have attacked iraq, he wouldnt spy on americans, there wouldnt be torture camps and rape rooms with american flags flying over them, al gore would have taken global warming seriously, al gore wouldnt have abandoned new orleans and neither would kerry have. lastly if al gore (or kerry) were president gas would cost nowhere near 3.00 per gallon.

bush and friends have fucked this country over royally and the fucking isnt over.

20. I seriously believe that anyone who is not MIHOP
has just not read up on enough of the background story yet.

There was a time when I innocently thought conspiracy theorists were as silly as flying saucer "abductees". Then I started looking into the the picture we are painted of "conspiracy theorists", and wondering who the artist was.

And I suspect those planes would have had four solid doors if Gore were in office.
