FITZGERALD: My understanding is we will not be arresting Mr. Libby. We will arrange for him to appear before whatever judge was assigned. You may know who the judge was assigned, but I don't because I came from there to here. And whatever the judge tells us what to do, we will do.

Unfortunately, there will be no Karl Rove frog march if and when he is indicted by the Grand Jury. During Patrick Fitzgerald's news conference last October, he said no one will be arresting Scooter Libby when he was indicted. So, more than likely, Karl Rove will have the same privileges as Libby and that is, report to court with his attorney before the assigned judge. No cuffs. In the meantime, we will have to enjoy this surreal photoshop over and over:

1. The frog march part of this parade is but a tiny portion

of the pageantry to come. Breaking News, Headlines: Bush's Brain Lies, Bush Administration on the rocks, the handwringing, the blogging, the fact that Miller, Cooper, Woodward, Russert, Novak, Novak Mitchell can't control the spin because they would be "material" witnesses and they will have been advised to shut up. The pundits will be a tour de force of the failure of the bush administration. And on and on till we hit 2006 when it will get really interesting. ;)
