Has Bush effectively become King of the World?
It's beyond a reasonable doubt now that he has absolute power as the president of the US. No one has EVER stopped him from getting his way, ever, in his entire life. Any country who doesn't bend over and agree to be his political sex slave like Britain is either bombed and the government replaced with a pro-Bush puppet government, or "boycotted" and treated with a grade-school mentality (freedom fries, anyone?). I think it is possible that he has come closer than anyone in history to ruling the world.

1. Because of 9/11,
he got lots of leeway and he hoovered it up and crapped it out.

He fucked it up -his Midas touch turned everything gold into dross.

2. he wishes, but he is not there yet. patience
things get bad, things get better, things get worse, things change. No he is not the king, though he wishes he were. He has caused massive damage, but does not rule yet.

9. The only people stupid enough to let * rule them are US citizens.
The rest of the world knew a long time ago he was a liar, a thief, and an incompetent idiot. They would at least put up a fight. In fact, they already are in Iraq.
