5. I hate the new format...

Nightline now has three "stories" throughout the half hour show.

I'm sick of the media catering to the nimrods who have no attention span. Please. We can sit through in-depth reporting on one subject for 30 minutes. Well, most of us can anyway.

The new look of Nightline looks like a prime-time news-magazine/entertainment show. I used to love Nightline because the show went in depth on important topics. I actually felt as if I was getting some news and that some real reporting was happening.

Now, Nightline is like all of the others. It's a real shame.

What next...dancing girls on 60 Minutes?

8. I pulled the plug on NL when it became a GOP echo chamber.

Same with the MSM when no outlet informed, reported or challenged, but just propagandized under the guise of being ubiquitous news.

In hindsight, perhaps Letterman saw this backlash coming when he turned down ABC’s overtures to replace NL with his show. Probably not, but it was a good move since I will tune-in to Letterman after TDS, but no longer consider NL as a viable alternative unless I’m looking for the latest Fascist media whore perspective. I can get that almost anywhere on the dial. And I’m not looking for it.

May NL RIP. It is soon to be replaced with even less topical diversions.
