Air America on the internet better do something about that awful music |
|
This generic music is so annoying, that commercials would be better. They better think up a new way of handling these gaps in programming.

If they need to fill gaps, how about cuts of famous speeches and other historical news items? I know the music industry charges everytime a popular song is played, so I can understand why they won't play songs we'd rather listen to, but that canned sound has got to go.

It's the loops, man! They're making us
And then, they play it twice, and you think they're done. And then, they play it again!

It is the epitome of lame. You'd think the fact that Led Zep's ex-manager is ruinning things might have a positive effect -- but NOOOO!
The music is so awful, I wish they's bring back the lame commercials!

At the very least a donation with a note attached about the music won't hurt. But it sure would help liberal radio (AAR)!

I've donated my ears. They have been both entertained and disengaged by the AAR content. The shows entertain me. The Ovaltine commercials generally reminded me to do something like leaving the room to refill a beverage, take a piss, etc. Anyway, I would come back.
This god awful stock music makes me turn down my speakers and I don't comeback to AAR until the real media client crashes my computer. It's a vicious cycle that’s becoming tiresome. I can google blogs and get the same info they use. Plus I can do it to my own soundtrack.
What I don’t understand is why the content shows can use real music for ins and outs, but the network is compelled to use the stock shit in the interstitials.
I guess AAR is determined to destroy itself under new “leadership.” First they let go of Liz, then Marty, then Mark. I really hate to see AAR fail, especially when it’s by their personal design. If they don’t want me to listen… fine; I can barely stand to anymore.

who just bought his first drum machine.
It's awful. I just bought XM, but I don't have a home kit yet, so I still have to listen to it.

9. The Clear Channel AAR feeds have real music. |
|

I like Stephanie Miller's show better than Springer. I've gone from Steph's show to Al's and the Boston feed still has real music.
Now I am trying to be engaged by Mike Malloy and that "on hold" crap is inducing a Sharon style coma. Did MSM suddenly buyout AAR? I have to ask because AAR does not offer a corporate email address. You can only complain via their individual shows.
If they are testing our resolve, I would like to know. If they mean to drive down their listeners, then they are doing a good job.
