a U.S. history text that is? I've seen it on the Soprano's- the school that A.J. goes to(one of them, anyway) apparently uses it...but do any use it in the real world?
I don't have kids, and it's been over a quarter-century since i was in a high-school history class.
I'd LOVE to see the Zinn book being used- but for white americans especially it really can be some difficult reading- if you have a conscience and a soul.

does anyone know of any schools that use it?

do you think that it should be more widely used?

1. I would love it if some did.
It should be required reading for every school. But the righties would never let that happen.

3. My child's school uses it
Not as the primary textbook but as a required resource.

4. Dittoes where I teach.
The big book is Boorstin, et al., but everyone has assigned readings out of Zinn.
