I saw Lynn Swann on H&c....did he suffer a head injury?
Edited on Thu Jan-12-06 03:06 AM by JohnnyRingo
I'm not trying to be facetious, he looked like he had a plate in his forehead.
I don't follow football, and As a NE ohio res, I certainly don't follow Steelers team history, but there's a definite raised rectangle on his forehead.

I wondered if he suffered a head injury or if (as I suspect) the Republicans implanted a transmitter to lure him into the "big tent".

Why else would he transit from "Steel Curtain" to "Iron Curtain"?

OK...now I'm being facetious, but I'm also somewhat sports illiterate.

1. Well, a former football player of African ancestry who runs for office as
a friggin' republican HAD to have played once too often without a helmet...

Like JC Watts' daddy noted, it's like the chickens voting for Colonel Sanders!

But I'm seriously concerned that I don't want to make light of him if he suufered a football injury that I'm not aware of.

If not, then I think I saw one of those under Buxh's jacket during the 2004 debates. Coincidece?

3. I was just on a USC message board
They were talking about how great Swann looked on that program. Maybe I should chime back in with your steel plate theory. I already got ridiculed there for assessing it was lousy handicapping on Swann's part to enter the race, especially as a political novice in a blue leaning state.

4. He is not of this world.
You have seen too much. Now you must die.

(It must be time for bed now, as the words "Great Gazoo" keep repeating themselves in my tiny little mind-- I mean geez, his forehead isn't large enough for THAT.)

8. Harry Belafonte would have a few choice words for Mr. Swann.
And Lynn would probably do this in Harry's presence. :hide:
