All of the "freeper smackdowns," petitions, letters to Fox, etc. amounts to us biding our time until "something happens". We've been dragged headlong into fascism and don't have an exit strategy. Enough flocking around from lie to lie - trying to put out these small fires when there's a conflagration raging in front of us. Everything we do is to get Bush & Co. out of office. It's time to do it effectively (no, we haven't been). One way to nip this in the bud is for ALL of us to gather in a unified front to demand one thing: BUSH STEP DOWN. We go to DC in droves and we go for that purpose.

This may not be the exact way YOU would do it. There may be other ways you think are better, but on February 4th we have a chance to pick this one action and commit to it.

This may not be the organization that you expected to take the lead. You may have some qualms with its membership or something someone said on the radio once. I really don't know/care. You may worry about disruptors making us look bad. You may say "Bush won't step down." There will always be reasons not to participate. You're missing the point. A HUGE unified front with a single, simple message. It worked in Mexico City, it worked in the Ukraine. STEP DOWN.

Debating the latest lie means nothing anymore. Debating the war means nothing. Gossiping about crying wives is fer shit. Pointing out flaws in our leaders will not change them. FEBRUARY 4th, IN DC is the time to take matters into our own hands and demand BUSH STEP DOWN.

Call in sick. Scrape up $50 for a bus ticket. Leave the kids with grandma. No excuses. This can be the time for Bush to STEP DOWN if we all go and act like we mean it.

If we don't do this now, I'm pretty darn sure there will be no more nonviolent mass movements in Amerikka for quite some time. We need the sense of duty of a soldier, and the willingness to make personal sacrifices. The investment of one weekend could pay off big - if we let it.
