Not saying anything for or against Mrs. Alito, but who cares if she cried? It doesn't matter to the Supreme Court of the United States. What matters is whether or not Alito is confirmed and what he would do if he is. All this concentration on Mrs. Alito is a DISTRACTION and it has NOTHING to do with what is going on here...

Don't let the media/GOP distract us from what is really happening here... Alito needs to be turned away...

Another voice of reason. So what if she had an emotional moment and had to leave the room crying. Does it really matter in the broad scheme of things. She's entitled to her emotions and way too much time and effort has been spent around here the last two days criticizing her for her tear.

Her blubbering was a terrific way for the media to avoid reporting on Alito's views. Why mention that he'd without doubt vote to overturn Roe, or give Bush the powers of a dictator, or screw us over in favor of corporations when they can play over and over the clip of his wife crying?

It's the perfect dodge for covering the real issues for our corporate masters.

It was a shameful and outrageous act of manipulation for the cameras. It made a mockery of the whole process of these hearings. It proves that there is not one person on the Hill or in the media who has a shred of respect for the Constitution or they would call it out for what it was. A piece of staged drama.
