Unless he had some published opinion related to this that he was going to nail Alito with in a follow up, Kohl just let him sound sympathetic to people who lose their homes for 2 minutes. If he's like many conservatives if there is one issue where he might side against government it would probably be property rights.

Why highlight this with limited time? You've got him dead to nuts on unitary executive, corporate power, and abortion. Pound him on that!

We should get to call time out when we see our guys bungling the questioning.
