Has this happened to anyone else? I was flipping channels the other day and POOF! No More Sundance! Have Docu Mondays gotten too close to the corporate monsters?? I am outraged and will be calling them tomorrow. :grr:

1. It's missing on Atlantic Broadband digital cable too
Maybe they think they can turn it into a premium channel or something. IFC is better anyhow.

2. We Still Have It
I have Cox, not Time Warner. If they dump Sundance, IFC (gotta have those Japanese "Blind Swordsman" movies) or BBC America, they will have to deal with me!

5. is there a Sundance channel in addition to that?

9. It's part of the cable Miovies on Demand
Just a few of their films, plus promotions for the regular pay channel.

it's probably marketing to get more subscribers for Sundance.

7. they didn't dump it here in n.c.,
but they moved it to a pay package ($2.95/mo). you get about 9-10 other channels (i think it's the "Encore" package. it now includes movie-plex which was also a favorite of mine. i called customer service to inquire about it and was told that when channels like sundance become really popular, they're usually moved to a premium package. i don't know if i buy that, but that's what i was told.
