|
Edited on Sun May-14-06 07:50 PM by leftchick
Has this happened to anyone else? I was flipping channels the other day and POOF! No More Sundance! Have Docu Mondays gotten too close to the corporate monsters?? I am outraged and will be calling them tomorrow. :grr:

1. It's missing on Atlantic Broadband digital cable too |
|
Maybe they think they can turn it into a premium channel or something. IFC is better anyhow.

I have Cox, not Time Warner. If they dump Sundance, IFC (gotta have those Japanese "Blind Swordsman" movies) or BBC America, they will have to deal with me!

5. is there a Sundance channel in addition to that? |

or is Sundance strictly "on demand"? I will check it out but I have not seen it there either.

9. It's part of the cable Miovies on Demand |
|
Just a few of their films, plus promotions for the regular pay channel.
it's probably marketing to get more subscribers for Sundance.

7. they didn't dump it here in n.c., |
|
but they moved it to a pay package ($2.95/mo). you get about 9-10 other channels (i think it's the "Encore" package. it now includes movie-plex which was also a favorite of mine. i called customer service to inquire about it and was told that when channels like sundance become really popular, they're usually moved to a premium package. i don't know if i buy that, but that's what i was told.
