TIME MACHINE DU POST FROM MAY 2018
Today's news about President Jeb authorizing the Homeland Police Force to set ablaze a church full of non-evangelical Christians who were praying for peace in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt and Massachusetts is the final straw! Coming on the heels of the ceremonial burning of the last known copy of the US Constitution in the White House Rose Garden, the nuclear bombing of Paris, the execution by burning at the stake of the three Democratic Senators who opposed the Bush Family Deification Act of 2005, the disclosure that Jenna Bush (CEO of Halliburton) had been granted a record $3.2 trillion bonus for the final quarter of 2005, this latest scandal was expected to force an already embattled White House into crisis mode.

With Jeb's approval rating at an all-time low of 29%, NOW the congressional Dems will have to act and the whore media will have to cover it! America is finally waking up. Drip drip drip.

that this neocon cabal who have subverted our entire nation for their ends since at least when Prescott financed the Nazi's construction projects

NEVER can participate in our business, cultural or political systems again

10. It's A Reply, Not A Thread. And It Said All That I Required It To.

12. I Know You Did. I Guess The Concept Went Over Your Head. Here, I'll
explain.

If you start a thread, it generally carries with it a bit more need for content then a reply does. A reply could be one word, or even just one character, and that would be fine in some cases. I need not make it witty or inspiring, I need only make it so that my intended opinion in response to the OP context is known. I believe I was successful with that. A thread, however, generally cannot be just one word or character, and generally should be at least thought provoking to some level. Maybe yours was to some. To me, it was just the same old boring tired uncreative 'it's all the democrats fault' garbage. To each their own though. That is after all, just one man's opinion.

13. Thanks for explaining that to a poor stupid slob like me.
I know it takes patience and a generosity of spirit for someone like you to persist in explaining until someone like me can begin to glimpse the truth.

But I didn't say your post was not a reply. In fact I called it a reply. I just said it was pithy and witty.

Maybe you really are sleepy.

And who said it was the democrat's fault? I didn't. Are you sure you replied to the correct thread?

You definitely have been successful. Congratulations.

14. No Problem! But You Still Missed The Point Again. Sighhhhh
Read it over, maybe you'll understand it this time around. I know you said reply and that had nothing to do with the point. Sheesh. :eyes:

And as far as the dem thing goes, your last line of "Now the Dems must respond" came off to me that all those things you stated as being true in 2018 were a direct result of dems having not stood up now (though they do every day), and that is why the future is so bleak, and that maybe after all that stuff happens, they will finally stand up. That's how it came across to me, and if that was the intent of the line then it does say to me that you were implying all the injustices in our government are occurring because Dems didn't speak out.

15. the point of the OP is that the more things change,
the more they stay the same.

I've been battling this same gang of thugs--neocons, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Baker, et al--since Nixon was in the White House.

Ever since Watergate, when Ford pardoned all these same damned criminals the first time around, well-meaning liberals have been professing that the latest outrageous scandal MUST be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

drip drip drip

Sighhhh

5. There will still be a presidency in 2018?
You're such an optimist! I expect some general or military dictator to be in charge then. Or perhaps a formal army corporal. No independent judiciary, and certainly no legislature. Unless Dems take back Congress in '06 that is.

Put into camps.

Ground for fertilizer.

Sprinkled over the wheaties of the average Busherican breakfast.

"Bush Juice! It's not just for bushfast anymore! Have a Bush day, y'all! C'mon Back and bush us y'all!"

It's a world of slaughter
A world of tears
It's a world of falsehopes
And a world of fears.
There's so much that we hate
That's it's time we elate
It's a Bush world after all
