HELP: wingnut who said they'd be afraid of med help from a liberal...?
I recall someone (maybe a year or so ago) who said they'd question or fear emergency medical help from someone who was liberal... Was it Ann Coulter? Anybody have a quote?

(Quotes or references to rightwing distrust of any other liberals -- firefighters, teachers, etc., just for the fact that they're liberal -- also appreciated!)

Thanks in advance!!

2. Well if it was Coulter, she's welcome to reject medical care any time
she wants, as far as I'm concerned. We'd all be better off with her dead of appendicitis or in a car wreck.

4. Dunno, I might do chest compressions with a shod foot
I am, after all, duty bound to save lives. I just don't want to get too close.

If they're going to check the politics of health care providers, they'd better be prepared to use prayer instead of medicine. I've been in healthcare in a lot of places for a lot of years, and most tend to be on the liberal side of things. Even high paid docs are starting to wake up.

My neighbor, my friend, and a liberal man in a democratic coal mining town.

I'm sure I read it, but couldn't recall exactly...

Doesn't matter -- I did without it!

11. Can they put that on a medical alert bracelet
so liberal EMTs and doctors know not to provide critical aid? We're sorry "Mr..uh Ms. Coulter. You're in dire need of blood but unfortunately you're in Massachusetts and all of our blood donors voted for Kerry in the last election. It's a standard question on our donor info questionnaires since your statement on TV. Whoda thunk we'd ever actually get to use it."

15. Ronnie Raygun Asked About His Doctor
The story goes that after he was shot and before they started to dig bullets out of him he said something to the effect "I hope the doctor is a Repugnican".

My father was a physician for over 60 years and NEVER voted for a Repugnican. My brother is also in medicine...does very well and lives in Duke Cunningham's former stomping grounds...he's and his family are staunch Democrats as well. The doctors we knew who were Repugnians were the immigrants...trying to butter their way up the social ladder.

16. The story was, supposedly Reagan, either in the E.R. or entering the OR
(operating room), joked with his doctors/nurses "I hope you're all Republicans," and the surgeon joked back "Today we all are, Mr. Reagan" or something approximately like that.
