What Cheney said re: Wilson on Meet the Press in 03: Contradicts notes
Edited on Sun May-14-06 11:48 PM by nytemare
on the op-ed.

Check the link, towards the bottom and look how many times he said he didn't know who sent him/who hired him. Then look at the note at the top of the newspaper asking if Wilson's wife sent him. Then, ask yourself if you believe Cheney when he said many times he didn't know who sent him. Oh, and the interview was in September. The op-ed was July.

Liar.

VICE PRES. CHENEY: ...I don’t know what the truth is on the ground with respect to that, but I guess—like I say, I don’t know Mr. Wilson. I probably shouldn’t judge him. I have no idea who hired him and it never came...

MR. RUSSERT: The CIA did.

VICE PRES. CHENEY: Who in the CIA, I don’t know.

1. That Article Is Very Damning
While the corporate media sleeps, Fitz turns loose a real bombshell that just upped the ante in this scandal...and put his sites right on Crashcart's beedy eyes.

I was thinking about that "I don't know Wilson" remark...hearing it the day he spewed it on Timmeh's treehouse and then again last night when I saw the actual article with Chenney's chicken scratch on TPM Muckraker. This sets firm timeline...no longer is there any confusion as to what the Prosecutor thinks is the start of this crime and who he thinks was behind it.

2. Well, it shows intent and motive.
The means and the actual carrying through might have been Libby and Rove.

The fact that he says it I think at least three times in the interview makes you wonder, why would he say that three times??

5. He said himself in the interview he liked to ask questions.

So, if he made a note to ask that question, he obviously found the answer. Perhaps on one of those trips to the CIA.

That newspaper shows intent and motive. The means and the carrying through were Libby/Rove.

Could be conspiracy.
