Truthout Should Take Its Cues From The DLC & Never Take Chances
Edited on Mon May-15-06 07:51 AM by cryingshame
Now I never personally refer to the DLC as a slur but there are hoards of DU'ers who do... and use it as a pejorative. A way to reference Democrats who always play it safe and are afraid to stand up, be counted and stand on principle.

It disgusts me to see many DUers who castigate Demcrats for "having no balls" to similiaraly do the same to Jason Liepold and Truthout for "HAVING BALLS".

Recognize the hypocracy please.

1. What?
This comparison would make sense if you were comparing news stories reported by both groups, but you aren't. Reporters are supposed to do their best to get the facts straight, not "take chances".

3. And when the MSM has all the FACTS
and they still do not report the god damn truth......excuse me?!
They are whores, the lot of them, whores!
I trust Truthout, and the ones who do have balls, and take chances. And when the rest of the country gets on board and stops waiting around for the complicit media to do their fucking jobs then MAYBE just maybe we'll see some REAL reporting.

5. More apples and oranges
You compare non-specific stories that weren't reported with a reported story.

There is no point to it.

I do not believe for a second that MSM would not report this story if they had sources giving it to them. Ultimately MSM is out there to make a buck, not to protect a political administration.

7. You can descend to ad hom nonsense
or you can explain yourself. Your choice.

Do you believe the MSM is not primarily about profit? Mind I'm talking about the MSM as a whole, not networks that attempt to appeal to niche markets like FOX.

8. There's a difference
between reporting actual news - you know, things that have happened and are verifiable - and going off half-cocked with some story that flew out of some assmonkey just because there was no news.

This Rove indictment matter has become the Holy Grail for so many people, and it's just another distraction from the real problems. Yeah, I understand bloodlust, but when it gets in the way of acting intelligently and with purpose and just becomes another round of cheerleading for what is - admit it - a tragic time in our history, then I think these so-called "journalists" just ought to shut the hell up and wait to see what happens.

Then report it.

Take a clue from Patrick Fitzgerald, who has shownn everyone how a true professional - in any field - works, and just shut up and do your job. Then talk about it.

It takes no "balls" to report nonsense. Keep that in mind.
