Has the Bush Administration pushed the panic button?
I mean, when was the last time Prince Shrub took a vacation?

This is about the time when Bush is in his cowboy playhouse in Crawford while Cheney is taking a peek at his blind trust in Halliburton.

Don't you just love it when Fox News folks have to go on the air saying that "All is well in the White House" and telling people not to worry? I heard that John Gibson or somebody with the last name of Gibson actually said this a couple of days ago.

That is the Propaganda of Desperation. We DO have them on the run, and don't believe anyone who says otherwise.

1. "Desperation," evidenced by Laura being pushed in front of the camera!

speech in primetime about a domestic issue-the first time! They're twisting in the wind, grasping at straws, distraction abounds.

7. No-the last time was when he so bravely solved the
stem cell issue, live from the ranch in august of 2001. Then, something else happened.

13. Good catch, my boo-boo. Actually, I heard that on teevee last
night. So here's yet another domestic issue he'll likely ignore in the long run. :eyes:

5. And that "calling out the National Guard" is what worries me.
I hate to think of what may be the real "end game" with this move. Once you have nationalized the Guard and used them as police, what puts that particular genie back in the bottle? Also, will these Guardsmen be Iraqi War vets? Mexicans look a lot like Iraqis, in certain ways. What happens if a couple of dozen Mexican nationals get gunned down on the border? Anyone who says that can't happen is dreaming. I see nothing good, at all, coming from this deployment. This is the opening act of a real horror show...

6. They are acting strangely
Like others on this thread have noted...Laura is in front of the cameras, bush's first speech about a domestic issue. What has me wondering is, are they doing this because of the low approval numbers or is it because of Rove's "indictment"?

8. Time to start up the emergency conservative re-education camps

It's simple with the NSA wire taps they can easily find out your political POV.

Strapped to a chair watching pictures of Ann Coulter, with Fx on the monitors, and being forced to listen to Ruch and Hannity all day.

9. The only people these guys have left are
basically the super rich, and the "Bitter End" Freeper/Dittohead hold outs. Yet I am amazed that a large number of GOPers are willing to fall off the face of the earth with him?
