Bush Legacy in 1 sentence: Military Intervention his answer to everything
911? Military response.

Katrina? Attempted military response.

Borders Security? Military response!

If he can't play Army, he refuses to play at all.

2. Why should this be a surprise?
His father did the very same thing with Panama, Somalia and desert storm. The Bush family looks upon the military as their personal bag of toy soldiers. And like you said they like to play army.

3. Reagan was the same.
Fun going back wards. Maybe one has to be my age to understand that. I grew up when WW2 was just getting going. Looking back it seemed like some one had an army some place all over the world.

4. I'm afraid I must disagree
After all there are lots of problems President Bush is happy ignoring. Katrina for example.

And of course there's his surefire cureall - tax cuts for the rich.

Edited on Mon May-15-06 09:14 AM by reichstag911
Forget that! Send Special Forces troops to SF, Provincetown, Fire Island, the Keys, etc.! We have to fight 'em there so we don't wind up fighting 'em here!
