Any one else having probs w/al Gore SNL video? |
|
I wanted to send the link to Al's SNL performance to some friends at work, but I can't get the server at You Tube OR Crooks and Liars.
Anyone else having problems?
Maybe they're both overloaded because EVERYONE is watching the vids!!!!!!! :bounce:
Or maybe they're under attack :tinfoilhat:

2. Many websites are not responding today |
|
I have tried from two different locations and many websites, including my own, are completely unresponsive or extremely slow.
Just imagine: this is what it will be like EVERY DAY if the telecoms get their way and net neutrality is eliminated.

5. OT:Actually it may be even worse. We're on 21.6k dialup with bad lines... |

it's already very slow trying to do anything on the web. I keep telling myself it could be worse... we could still be going only a few thousand baud like we did when I first started to regularly surf the 'net (it was a few hundred when I first was able to get on occasionally using friends Tandy's or Atari's)... then I realize that if net neutrality is eliminated I might someday consider even that fast again. :argh:

3. Just check You Tube & it started coming up fine for me. BTW How can I .... |
|
can save this permanently to my hard drive (or a DVD/CD) so we can watch it when we want to without having to wait for it to load again (We LOVED it and want to show it to my daughter when she comes to visit next time). (We're only on 26.6k dial up connection so it took quite awhile to load it up yesterday.)
