I have an idea for after November
I'm sure we've all noticed that whenever a poll goes up asking us about who we want running in '08, there's usually anywhere from 50 to 200 participants depending on traffic, along with all the folks who bemoan the fact that we're wasting time on this silly poll, and then the poll quickly sinks to oblivion.

I'm wondering if it would be a useful tool, in more ways than one, for the mods to create a permanent polling place on DU after November for DUer's to vote for their favorite Dem candidate. After all, we've got almost 90,000 members, which will most likely increase exponentially as we approach '08, so we'd have a hefty cross section of what folks think (or feel in their gut :D ).

Useful tool? What do you think?
