Why Rove Would Plant His False Indictment Story
Since my theory is under attack, let me defend it by saying why I think Rove planted his own false indictment story. Rove loves to paint himself, and Bush, as victims of an out of control liberal media, and by getting them to bite hard on a false story, this allows him to shine and destroys the credibility of anyone attacking him or Bush.

He did this exact thing to the Bush National Guard story in 2004, effectively killing that story, destroying Rather's career, and making CBS news look foolish and untrustworthy. He also planted false news about Iraq with Judith Miller, and the entire Plame story is again about planting false information with the media.

Rove uses false news in order to gain a political advantage. That's his bread and butter strategy, so it would not surprise me if this indictment story is also false, even though no other media outlet, mainstream or otherwise, is confirming the story.

1. BS He was indicted ... a dumb lackey pulled the AEI speech ... the
aware spinmeisters then promptly put it back on the calendar - why? - in order to support The Chimperor. My best impression is that Rove was, in fact, indicted on Saturday, however, he does not want to share the limelight with Our Dear Leader's Decrees this evening.

Stop making this smarmy man anything more than what he truly is: A two bit thug.

Still, time will tell. :hi:

2. An important difference is that the TANG sting killed an investigation
that was building steam. Stinging Leopold might serve up some revenge but that dose of Dr. Feelgood ain't gonna stop Fitzgerald's investigation.

(because HE told them to) and they aren't touching it.. Wanna know why they aren't touching it? BECAUSE IT'S TRUE. They're waiting until their Achilles Heel is out of power before they dare report on it.

5.  This information is likely coming from the court. Not Rove
Rove would have a hard time planting his own Indictment story as no one from the press would trust anything coming from his team. I am sure Jason got this information from someone who is NOT connected with Rove and has access to the court proceedings.

6. Or how about this: Last week, someone got it all wrong!
It woudln't be the first time we've had a "scoop", from a "trusted" site, turn out to be nothing but BS.

Rove is not the fucking mastermind genius that everyone here makes him out to be. You guys act like he controls the universe or something...

7. I posted this last night before the thread was locked...
My biggest concern is that this might have been a Rovian trick, much like he did to that biographer of B* (Can't recall his name) whose reputation was ruined. He supposedly committed suicide. If several sources lie to you about the same story, how can you be protected from that? And what good would outing the source do if their intent was to harm you personally. KKKRove is evil, and so are his tactics.

I believe that Leopold believed his sources. Who know, if this doesn't pan out, it looks as if KKK was trying to paint the 'Liberal' blogosphere with falsehood; and the irony of it...TruthOut.
